Title: Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Redmond, WA (On-Site M-F core business hours)

Compensation: 125k - 170k
Duties
- Design, manufacture, and assemble prototypes of soft wearable electronic devices
- Apply sound engineering and design principles for manufacturing of novel sensor integrations in wearable electronics
- Communicate with vendors on DFM and Manufacturing of designs for prototype builds
- Collaborate with researchers and engineers to rapidly prototype hardware solutions, iterate, and run experiments.
Skills
- BS in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in building hardware prototypes, preferably in wearable consumer electronics, or a similar field
- Experience with 3D modeling software (Siemens NX preferred. Solidworks, Creo, or similar allowed)
- Experience with FPC/PCB integration
- Experience in consumer electronics
- Experience with prototyping including 3D printing
Nice to Haves:
- Knowledge of Camera integration/Optics
- Hands-on prototyping with molding and casting of elastomers or industrial processes such as Liquid Injection Molding.
- Experience collaborating and communicating effectively on multi-disciplinary teams
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
